A look inside the tool box Pt. 1 of 2
April 30th, 2009
Sit back and watch as I give a drawer by drawer tour of my tool box. Don’t ask me how much it’s all worth because I have no idea any more. For those of you wondering what the best brand is, there isn’t one. I have no preference except when it comes down to little things. For example, I prefer Snap On screw drivers with the old style plastic handles (can’t stand those ed comfort grip things), but I like Matco impact sockets and Mac chrome sockets. The same goes for tool boxes. I prefer Mac and Matco boxes because the top drawers are deeper than Snap On’s (work stations that is), but I really like the drawer catches on Cornwell boxes. Whatever tools I buy will almost always be from Matco, Mac, Snap On or Cornwell simply because they’re made for heavy use. Cheap tools work fine, but do wear out quickly and sometimes the fit of wrenches, sockets etc. isn’t very good. Professional tools hold true to the saying “You get what you pay for.”

I can’t imagine not …
I can’t imagine not having one. If you’ve been considering purchasing one, just go out and do it. You’ll wonder why you put it off for so long. The Drill Doctor was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
