Is it even possible to have political discourse anymore? It seems that all conversations devolve into an elementary school playground. There is little truth involved.

Conservatives (GOP and Tea Party) in America have lost civility long time ago :
They fight abortions by bombing clinics, they fight for family values by raping altar boys , they fight muslim terrorism by bombing buildings and shooting their own citizens and kids (Brevick), they fight for America by making president to fail…Today , they can not think or talk , they can not reason with …

How do you add a Shockwave Flash tool to your toolbox in Visual Studio 2010?

I already went to add reference and it has the green check next to it but I cannot find it in my toolbox. Does anyone know where It would be?

Right click on an item in the toolbox then select Choose items…
wait for a window to open (may take a min or two)
Click on the COM components tab and find Shockwave Flash Object and make sure its checked then hit OK and it should appear in the toolbox now

Carpet installers badly scratched my natural slate floor in our hallway with their tools and metal toolboxes.?

This is not slate tile but actual chunks of slate. The installers were pushing their metal boxes and tools around and now there are all kinds of criss/cross scratches over the slate. I tried to put a floor shine over them but the scratches are still very vivid. What can I do to get rid of those white scratches. They look terrible. The carpet supplier and installer both are totally ignoring my complaint.

Use mineral Oil. Works great on natural slate but make sure you clean it off first with rubbing alcohol.
Call the Better business bureau on them.

Where can I buy a toolbox in Singapore?

You know .. I am looking for a regular toolbox with wrench, screwdrivers, hammers and pliers. I looked in Giants but they only have the box, not the tools. And did I mention expensive!! I checked stores near to me too, I did not get anything.

Can anyone tell me a good shop with the kind of toolbox I need?

I live in Tampines, so something near would be helpful.

!00% sure you can get the toolbox for all DIY stores, there should be one nearby.

Hammer
screwdriver (Flat/Philips)
wrench
power drill
duct tape
glue
allen wrench set
assorted screw/washer/nails
tape measure

What else should everyone have?

A Basin Sink Wrench, How many home owners etc, do not own one of these invaluable tools, makes life easy for tightening or replacing faucets…

Selling vintage tools and a toolbox?

I have a number of vintage tools and an old school metal toolbox (maybe 60 or 70 years old) that I want to get rid of. I’d like to sell them, but I don’t want to deal with shipping them through Ebay (too many of them and not enough time for that!).

So I’m looking for another way. Does anyone know if there are stores/clubs/associations/pawn shops, etc. that will buy them?

And for a fair price? I have no idea how much they are worth. Any way I can find out how much they would be worth? Thanks in advance!

Try looking for similar tools on eBay to see what they’re selling for. Then post on craigslist.org to find a local buyer. You won’t have to deal with shipping and you get to list the stuff for free!

im slowly building my toolset i have a huge toolbox need the right tools. I cant tell you how many times i went to fix something on my car and didnt have the right tool. looking for a list of tools every car mechanic should have from head to toe.

LOL You’re going to need a lot more than 20! Even if you count sets of wrenches as 1 item. Best advice I can give is to go to the Sears website, and look at the tools they have in the biggest set they sell. That’s a good start at least. After that, take a look through a Snap-On catalog, and look for all the specialty and diagnostic tools online, where you can get them cheaper.

I have a project for my holocaust class and we have to think of "tools" to put in a "toolbox" that can be used to help solve world issues, such as genocied, violence, ect. any ideas? they can be literal or figurative, please help! (an example would be, glasses: to help people see things clearly)

I am just starting to take up building model rockets and I was wondering what tools i should have in my toolbox.

Not much is required for low-power model rockets.

Pencil
Scissors
Razor knife
Ruler/Metal straight edge
A good length of angle iron is nice for drawing fin alignment marks on round body tubes.

That’s about it for the hard stuff. The rest is basically consumables like glue, sandpaper, paint, etc.

For launching, you should probably carry a small multi-tool for minor issues.
